Please help me find some nice warm waterproof boots.

Ordered the north face Abby ones but theyre not as long as I'd like - prefer boots that come almost up to knee rather than mid calf - looks better on me somehow and would be warmer and drier. Need something very warm and waterproof for when out with dc and watching ds2 play football and rugby.

Can anyone help? Anyone had keen boots?

Thank you!

I have these They are ace. How do they make rugby pitches so cold, wet and windy?!!

Love those dukes but can't see them anywhere in the uk in my size (6).

I know dexter absolutely freezing and I hate being cold.

timberland do some amazing knee high waterproof boots. there's a beautiful pair for £190 in their earthkeepers range: mount holly tall leather zip boot. Can't link as am on phone. I am totes in love with them but sadly, at that price they will never be mine.
They look fabby on, they are comfy, sexy AND practical and have great green credentials to boot (!) due to using recycled materials.
There are similar ones half price on the timberland.co.uk website called 'wiltshire'.

I've just bought the Galway boot from dubarry as was sick of standing in muddy fields watching rugby and lacrosse matches with freezing feet in inappropriate footwear ! I'd wanted a pair for years but was put off because of hideous price tag but think are a good investment buy that will last many years. Like the fact they look much smarter than wellies.

I have these because I wanted the extra length.

Precious have you tried these on? If so what's the sizing like and how far down does the fleecy lining go? They are v nice - pricier than I'd planned but look like they would last for years.

I have the TImberland mount holly boots. Fleece goes all the way down, I sized up after reading the reviews, size 6 instead of 5.

They are very comfy and very warm.

Precious uttingsoutdoors now have these for £129 if that's more in your price range :)

A word of warning about the Timberland Earthkeepers - if you can, try to order from someone other than Timberland (I think amazon usually have a good selection). I ordered a pair of Bethel Earthkeepers (biker style ones) and they came ALREADY WORN. Was not happy and returns were a PITA (to the Netherlands via UPS collect which was a 40 mile round trip!), took a month to get full refund. (The boots were lovely though...)
