Ash shoes - fit?

I'm in love with a pair of Ash shoes in the sales but they are only in a 39. I am usually a 39.5 or a 40. How do Ash shoes usually fit - are they certain to be too small?

In my experience, I'd say they're true to size.
However, if it's an online purchase, you should be able to return them for a full refund if they're too small.

I think it depends on the style OP. I have exactly the same size feet as you (!) & recently bought some Ash biker boots in a 40. They seemed pretty big, so ordered a 39 with the intention of sending one pair back. I literally couldn't get my foot in the 39 (there seemed to be far more than a size difference) so kept the roomy pair. I don't regret it, they are great!

I got a pair of their wedge trainers and they were small on me!

I've got the wedge trainers too. At first they really rubbed my toes as they are very narrow.

Thanks all, you've helped me avoid spending £75 as I'm pretty sure they would be too small. Perhaps I can achieve a no-spend January?!

ASH tend to be slightly narrow and true to size. I wouldn't go for a half size smaller than my feet in this brand.

See I think they're slightly wide but true to size!
Ultimately so long as the length is good, they will stretch width-wise if they're a bit too tight at first. If they're too short tho, they will always be too short in the length and nothing will change this.

I'm normally a size 4.5 and so bought 4 boots online, but am having to send back for a size 3, as they are still too big! So it might be worth trying the smaller ones if there are free returns?

So I caved and went for a different style in a size 40, which is my true size. Bargains to be had here for you Ash fans. I went for the Virgin in the end.
