Thanks slainte.
Isn't it all a total pain in the bum. Was in a similar position to yourself, put off roaccutane for years, between pregnancies (6, 2 babies) and breastfeeding, it wasn't possible. Finally did it last year, fantastic. What a relief. I went to the dermatologist initially looking for Fraxel, she wouldn't do it til I had the acne under control. I thought it was fairly minor at the time, she disagreed. So a few years later I went back for roaccutane. Because i was -ahem- older, or as the derm said, "more mature", i didn't need a high dose, and apart from dry skin had no trouble taking it. As I said before what a RELIEF! And now I'm on the Fraxel road. Your intracel thing looks like it should be v good. Possibly better than fraxel. Am back for 3rd Fraxel end of Jan, I must ask derm aout intracel
then. Is intracel fairly new? I find my derm excellent, her diagnoses and advice have been spot on. Long story, I also had this thing called Demodex, which is a mite, lives in pores, comes out at night, totally bleugh sounding, most of us have some, (yes folks, i'm delighted to spread the delightful news, most of us have mites on/in our skin). I had a lot (apparently), bleugh bleugh, but treatment was fairly simple and really made a difference to my skin. No other derm had picked it up.
Anyway after that long-winded Diatribe, I'm on the Fraxel road and hoping. About £400 a go, I suspect I'll need 5 or 6 if I can afford. My skin is fairly glowing. Expensive glow tho!!! Mind you I've spent a pretty fortune over the years on cosmetic nonsense, this is prob cheap by comparison!
Good luck with Intracel. Will be agog to hear how you get on. And good luck with the TTC!
