do knee length boots give around the calf?

taken delivery of some really nice boots, tried on this morning and seemed fine.

i got them to wear with leggings/jeans and with these on they are quite tight - took quite a bit of an effort to zip them up.

they are narrow and quite tight fitting and i didnt want boots that looked like wellies!
i love them but am a bit worried that they will cut off my circulation...!!

they are made of leather

does anyone know if they will give a little around the calf area with wear?
i cant get 2 fingers in so they arent that bad but are still very tight fitting.

i want to keep them but dont just want to be restricted to skirts/dresses with them.

so will they give a bit?

Leather gives a bit, yes. Wear them around the house with extra thick jeans/long socks, to stretch them.
