Is permanent make-up any good?

Quite a good offer for permanent eye make-up came through on groupon this morning. I am very tempted. I have 2 young dcs and not much time so I thought it would help me look a bit more presentable without spending ages in front of the mirror every morning!
Anyone had it?
Does it hurt? How long does it last? Is it worth it?

I guess it depends on whether you want the same look every day. I know someone who has tattooed-on eyebrows - but they look shocking as she ages (very thin, way higher than her original browline).

Are you talking about tattoo type makeup? or things like eyelash tinting (which obviously isn't permanent - but since you were asking "how long does it last", I thought I'd check - permanent should last pretty much forever)

Thanks. I think it is semi permanent then - a line on the eyelid. Can't brung myself to do it ad it's sounds too much like a tattoo! (got one of those and nearly passed out from the pain)!

I've only heard horror stories about permanent make-up. Don't do it, I've never seen it look nice (either in pictures or on real people). Better to wear none at all!
