thicker eyebrows - magic potion

itdidntworkout · 03/01/2012 21:53

I haven't plucked my brows for six months. They are still a little sparse and I'd like to thicken them.

Can anyone recommend anything? Serums, lash lengtheners?

Thanks, x

eyebrow pencil?

I use powder at the moment, but really want thick luscious brows.

There's a lash lengthening serum, do you think that would work?

i dunno about serums, i dont have your problem, but i do use a good eyebrow pencil ( rubbish ones really are a waste of money) and if you choose a couple of different shades you can get a natural look

I havebused the serum revitalash and itmworks on brows too. Takes about a month but very good results.

I get mine dyed. It makes a huge difference.

You could have them tattooed... You would have to get someone very skilled though, it can look like felt tip stripes if it's not done well.

my threading lady told me to massage a little castor oil on my brows when I wanted them thicker (I didn't try it, but if you google it there are all sorts of reviews about the stuff!)

I second about getting them dyed, I do mine myself with eyelash dye, then fill them in with powder (I personally think it looks more natural than pencil if you have sparse brows)

HD Brows do a product called Grow Baby Grow. Not sure where you can buy online but if you find a salon that does HD Brows you may be able to buy it from them.

I went to a benefit brow bar in Debenhams, paid £18 for a tint and wax and can't believe the difference in my eyebrows. They had been overplucked for years and I was trying to grow them back but it was very sparse. They are now lovely and thick looking in a beautiful shape and you can't see the gaps anymore. It's a miracle! I'm not going to touch them myself ever again. I would highly highly recommend it. Even before I put any make up on I feel much more well groomed.

The lady who did my brows advised exfoliating to stimulate hair growth.

partyhats · 04/01/2012 11:00

my threading lady also recommended castor oil.

lubeybooby · 04/01/2012 11:03

My brows are dark but very sparse and look shit without a little bit of pencil

I think my only option is semi permanent make up (sort of tattoo that lasts about 5 years)

Thanks ladies.

Thought I'd check out Revitalash and I'm in shock at the price!

Eyelash Growth Serum - 2.4ml £66
Eyelash Growth Serum - 4.1ml £95
Eyebrow Growth Serum - 3ml. £87
Hair Restoration Serum - 29.58ml. £160
RevitaLash® Mascara (Brown or Black) £19

Do you think it really works?
