Does any anti wrinkle cream really work?

Just that really.
And if so, are we talking short term (whilst using) or long term effects?

Tbh, I don't think any really do, if you are talking about getting rid of fine lines. There are some that appear to miraculously work after a month or so but then seem to miraculously 'stop' working after a further couple of months (Protect and Perfect, I'm looking at you).

I believe that that the most you can hope for in a moisturiser is one that gives your skin long-term nourishment, and while fine lines continue to develop, your overall skin tone is helped, and maybe the fine lines don;t appear as dramatically as otherwise.

My mil has AMAZING skin, and she's only ever used Pond's cream. I favour Neal's Yard Frankincense which I've been using now for about two years. It's expensive but v soothing for my sensitive skin, and while I have lines, my skin still looks quite fresh, clear and dewy (hoping it might last!)

No! But some seem to a bit... I like soap and glory 21 day wrinkle in time.. And I think cutting right down on caffiene and sugar really helps (but I never manage it).

YY the Soap and Glory 21 day cream is excellent and does really refresh skin when it's looking old and grey from winter weather. It's not called catch a wrinkle, that's the day cream. Hang on... oh yeah, Wish Upon a Jar. Recommend that.

I doubt it but I'm using Oil of Olay overnight regenerist serum and my skin does look better. My mum used to work with a top consultant dermatologist who said best thing was slathering on good old vaseline at night then blotting off excess!
