I've had success in the past with the Lancaster pre-sun booster.

Thanks. Will look at that one. Was looking at the gatineau one but that is expensive!

Yes - I think they all have a small amount of self tanning chemical in them. I have tried a couple sold in tanning bed shops and they both seemed to make the tan deeper quicker. Some after sun lotions also have a small amount of self tanning chemical in them and they also work very well to deepen a tan without it looking fake or orange - they contain a smaller amount of the chemical than a self tan cream/lotion does so it's a more subtle effect.

Ive used them a couple of times and really think they made a difference. They stimulate the melanin production before you get in the sun so they protect against burning as well (though obviously you still need to use your usual sunblock). I tanned deeper and quicker when I used them and they get your skin in a nice condition pre holiday because you use them 2 weeks before you go. I used the Elemis one.

ps they dont have any self tanning chemicals in them so you wont see any difference before you get in the sun
