I have had a very nice Francesco Biasia purple handbag for a few years. Over time the lovely colour had faded badly as I use it every day. I had used a leather cream to keep the leather supple, but the colour looked awful.
Anyway, after reading a bit on the web, I bought a purple shoe cream from Woly. I have just applied it all over the handbag and buffed it up and it looks fantastic! The original colour has come back and it looks as good as new. So, I just thought I would post this in case anyone has a similar situation with a favourite bag. I will also update if the colour fades too quickly.
