Leggings

Where oh where can I find leggings that you can't see through when wearing them. I have tried M & S, NEXT, Boden & Monsoon, and non of them were thick enough to not see through when they were on. I am a size 12, so I don't think I want them to stretch too much. Please can anyone help?

sweaty betty. £££Shock though. But soft, long and non see-through, don't fade and though not completely seam free only have one seam on inside leg.

MrsSeanBean · 03/01/2012 22:56

How do you check they're definitely not see through though?

sprinkles77 · 03/01/2012 23:10

you can't really. I stick my arm in them and stretch the fabric while holding arm up to light. It has to be said though that most fabrics look see through if you do this.

I've been looking for the primark control ones but my local store doesn't seem to stock them.

The best ones I ever bought were from Sainsburys, but I've not seen them again since.

Are any of these non see-through ones nice and long? All the leggings I've ever tried (other than specific tall ones which are like gold dust it seems) are far too short.

Gap are brilliant. Mine are thick, not see through at all, and they are kind of more like trousers in that they look smart, but really comfy.

My cheap matalan ones are not at all see through. Long too.

My M&S Indigo ones are thick and completely opaque. And they come in extra long.

Another vote for Topshop. I am heavily pregnant at the moment and still you can't see through them. They seem to be made of a much thicker fabric than my other leggings.

I have New Look Ponti 'Treggings'. They are very comfy and not see through at all. A good range of colours too. Think they were £18 but they are worth it. I found the Primark control ones bobbled very quickly.
