Just being trying to track down some sparkling Nars face powder which has good reviews but only seems to be available in USA .Anyone know of something similar ? I know sparkly seems to be a dirty word these days but I like it ! Used to have some lovely stuff by accesorise but they don't sell it anymore.

Not seen the Nars one, but there is a Smashbox pearly sparkly powder on sale on www.justbeautydirect.co.uk - it's really nice for highlighting cheekbones/collarbones etc. Not sure if that's what you're after Confused...

I have it in Pearl...

I have a chanel face powder (compact not loose tho) can't rember the name. Also have a Bourjois highlighter powder (also compact) Guerlin do those pastel shimmery balls also..

Thanks for all your replies. I already have the bourjois illuminating touch which I love so perhaps should stick with that just thought the Nars might have been more finely milled and could have put it all over my face. I will have a look at your other suggestions though.

I think the Smashbox one is really quite pearly so you wouldn't want it all over your face unless you want to look like Robert off Justin's House...

But if you want a 'glowy' type loose powder, try a sample of the Lily Lolo loose finishing powder in 'flawless silk' - it is not matte but definitely not overly shimmery - it gives you a nice glowy skin finish. I don't personally like mineral foundation, but I do keep using the finishing powder as the result is not matte and powdery but more luminous IYSWIM. You can buy a tester pot for £1.29.

Just looked at the chanel and the feerie from the summer collection does sound glittery but do you think all the shades are as glittery is what I want Grin
Lily Lolo sounds similar to the bare minerals and I did not really like that not least cause the cat got hold of the brushes but thats another story !

If you do want glittery then the Smashbox one is for you! It's very very very pearly...
