Anyone else experienced the Argan Oil Free Trial Hard sell??

Ok - so I am gullible - saw the Free trial of Argan oil on a web site - sent off for it after hearing so much about it on S & B - tried it - was ok not revolutionary but then noticed on the delivery note - that unless I cancelled they would send me a 30 ml size every month and debit my card with £70.!! - - until further notice. I emailed cancelling obviously and a few days later had a phone call from a lady saying why did I not want it ? - did I want the reduced price of £30? - No I said - what about the extra reduced price of £19 00?? NO - I said politely and was told that in that case I had to return the Trial size to them or else be charged full price for it.! I was given an address in England to return it to but then received an email saying my request had been noted and no further payments would be taken so this is obviously a hard phone sell done to get you to commit I have not returned the free trial and so far heard no more -- anyone else had this happen?? Shocking!!

You can get 50ml if pure organic Argan oil from Melvita for £18!

So that "offer" even without the massive rip off sounds expensive.

Melvita direct online or at John Lewis. All their oils are organic and everything I have had from them has been fab tbh.
