Short skirts please - not mini

Hi all and a Happy New Year.

This would seem like a simple enough request but I'm damned if I can find what I'm looking for.

I would like a skirt approx 18 inches long; a line; possibly straight; size 10; easy to wear; not tight; in fact, if I can find the style I'm not too fussed about the colour or pattern!

I'm 5ft 3 and in my forties so nothing too voluminous, layered or girlie.

I defy you to find such a skirt.

And when you do, see if they do it in a 12 for me!! spent a couple of hours yesterday looking!

Boden skirts tend to be this length in the short version.

BUT not sure what's left in the sale

Oh the hours I have wasted too lisaro...

I'll have a quick look at Boden thanks.

Perhaps what I'm after is simply not 'in' ?

Hmmm...Boden is a bit ££££ isn't it?

I like that you can read reviews on their website. I couldn't see skirt length however, just waist and chest size.

I bought few Boden minis in the sale last year, in wool, tweed, and velvet. I'd say they meet your requirements. I'm 5' 4" an they sit nicely above the knee without being uncomfortably short.

I just got out a tape measure they're all about 18.5 inches top to bottom.

AutumnWitch, thanks for your suggestion too.

I'm just an inch shorter than you but the Boden skirts are 19 inches and that, unfortunately, is a tad too long for me.

Ideally I need 17/18 inches Grin Sorry! Blush

I have just measured my White Stuff skirts and they are that length! Although I think people here don't like White Stuff. But I do Grin
