Kew sizing is HUGE isn't it?

I had to return two things to the shop today and they didn't give me the postage back

PLUS looking down their nose (collective) at me (except trainee who was lovely) plus being utterly shite at handling internet returns. 'Oh we don't get many' (right.)

I got a jumper in 'small' which is more of a 12, and a dres in a 10 which was VAST. There was room for at least two extra pairs of norks in there.

Anyway. I just wanted to tell people to err on the small side when ordering as I remember having this problem once before, I think.

As you were Smile

Yup, it is massive. I bought a skirt in a 12 after I gave birth to DS1. I was, at best a big 14, more like a 16 really. I am now a 12 and it falls down.

BlastOff · 31/12/2011 13:35

Oh good. Maybe I'll fit into something then Grin

HollyBollyBooBoo · 31/12/2011 15:16

Music to my ears, a shop that sells clothes I stand a chance of fitting into!

henrythecat · 31/12/2011 15:30

Yes - I'm a 10-12 and frequently have to have XS in their tops and an 8/10 in dresses. Even their footwear is huge - I'm a 4 in shoes, 5 in converse and I have to have a size 3. I would have politely argued the case for having original postage refunded given the disparate nature of the sizing.

Fregley · 31/12/2011 15:44

No. I'm a 14 on top and find their tops small.

Fregley · 31/12/2011 15:44

Their postage is a fucking disgrace though

MrsCampbellBlack · 31/12/2011 15:46

I think they cut for pears so their stuff never works on me as waists all wrong.

JenniferEight · 31/12/2011 15:56

I nearly did but they buggered off leaving me with the trainee who had had enough trouble already. And tbh I did that last time, and they did refund it, but I didn't have the energy to bother today.

It just means I won't bother buying anything from there again. I do occasionally when the shop has some decently cheap bits in the sale.

Just tried on some Great Plains stuff, skirt fits (just) in an 8! Hmm but the trousers in a 10 are minuscule and I can barely do them up...just the wrong height waist, right round the hip bones. Pointless.

That's all going back too as I need a skirt that can accommodate me when I'm not this skinny, which is most of the time.
