New year, new hair! Morrocan Oil or PK Elasticizer?

Ouch! I have just spent 1 whole hour trying to comb my hair, I have used a whole bottle of conditioner, it was a matted witch's nightmare. I have long unprocessed wavy hair, always been easy to manage. I don't usually comb it when dry just comb through in the shower with conditioner in. It seems to be getting really dry though and today was just completely matted and horrific. Waaaah Sad
So I am going to treat myself to something amazing that will leave me swishing about like a fancy lady in an advert. I'm thinking either moroccan oil (if so which one? There seem to be loads on the market right now) or the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer I've been reading about. ANY advice greatly received!

what about the argan oil? is that old news now? I thought that was a hair thing.

I sympathise, I am also frizzy of ends atm.

I smothered my wavy hair in hemp oil and a plastic bag before I washed it last week, seemed to work quite well ( happened to have it around instead of olive oil, didn't buy it specially). But got some little tubes of elastizer in my stocking so will be trying that.

Morrocan oil is great I got the £12 25 ml one a few weeks ago and have used it nearly everyday and the bottle still looks full, you only need the tiniest bit in the ends of your hair and it is amazing.

Have tried both and def prefer Moroccan Oil. You still need a good styling but it is really good. I didn't notice any real difference with PK.

You need this little beauty Kerastase Elixir Ultime - contains 4 oils including Argan & is the best oil I've tried for taming frizzy ends.

I've used the PK Elasticiser but it isn't as good as the Kerastase oil on my hair. If you can afford it I'd use the PK as a conditioner and the oil as a styling aid .. my hairdresser combs it thru my hair before blow-drying, then puts some on once my hair is dry to add shine, but I just use it pre-blow-dry.

I tried the Elastaciser, and found it really faded my hair colour after one application. Annoyed, as it was expensive.

Elixir Ultime is lovely. For me, it feels slightly more moisturising than M/oil. I have the Elasticizer and it makes hair feel lovely and swishy but I very rarely seem to bother to use it as you have to leave it in your hair before you shampoo and this requires preplanning and time!
Do you have a tangleteezer? I think mine has saved my hair! If you are wanting to blow dry your hair smooth this stuff is incredible at detangling, smoothing as you dry and protecting it from heat: Uniq One It is supposed to do ten things in one product and is worth experimenting with.

Hair oil. Just used both. Plus elasticizer is ££
