I can't get used to seeing people in them. They look like they are wearing bed spreads.

I have a Liberty lined Barbour, unpadded though.

Quilted jackets are very 'in" at the moment. I don't think it's a trend I'm going to be following.

DH had one before they got fashionable, he said they were cool. Very on trend my husband, quite often he buys something I hate and he says no its really stylish. Then next thing everyones wearing it.

If I paid more attention I could quote more than the barbour jacket but I find mens clothes a bit dull and dont really pay attention.

I live in Norfolk, it's all they ever wear.

I would instantly feel about 75 if I wore one. I'd have to get a walking stick, a Golden Retriever and a subscription to Scottish Field magazine.

I got one for Christmas

I have loved them forever though- in a ideal world I would also have a springer spaniel, a Landrover and a cosy house in the country.

In reality I live in a modern house in crap town, with no room for pets and a Renault.

I almost bought my DH one but his arms were too long for it when he tried it on looked daft. I got a North Face body warmer thing which is very nice but I can't get used to the body warmer concept, surely my arms will get cold!

Teenagers love them at the moment.

Loads here too. Particularly purple. I am a barbour fan and have a few but not the padded. Mine are older ones and needs must living in the arse end of nowhere.

DD got a flowery Barbour-type one in the sales.
