Winter wedding in two weeks... what to wear?

I'd like something fairly contemporary that looks stylish without breaking the bank. Many people there will be looking very expensive and I can't really compete like that... I'm early forties, size 12, modern urban type, and at a loss here... Any ideas?

Anyone? is black acceptable? it's a day wedding, so probably not....

I saw a lovely faux fur bolero quite cheap in John Lewis sales which would look really lovely with a coloured dress or even a white one.

As a guest you could wear accents of black or even black with a colour.

I'm not the one getting hitched - sorry that wasn't very clear... I think I like the idea of dress/tunic type thingy with black high shoes and Wolford tights... I like that Jaeger a lot...

I think this (also comes in black) with a vintage brooch would look great.
