Mine is to keep on top of my nails. They grow quickly, I like them quite short with a very pale pink varnish, but I am lazy about filing them and they always grow just that tiny bit too long before I tackle them.

Mine is to start plucking my own eyebrows. I detest doing it.

Keep on top of hair removal... at this stage (stupid winter) I might need to call dyna-rod when I next put a razor to my legs! Confused

To buy (and then actually wear) a red lipstick.

I bought an epilator recently and have so far only done my lower legs once but I intend to keep up with it and hopefully by the summer I'll be able to use it without crying often enough to get used to it and the re-growth will be finer.

Oh me too Perish - once I forgot to clean the bath after doing my legs in the shower and DH was aghast- he thought I'd given myself a Hollywood.

to drink more water so my skin can look/feel healthier

PastGrace · 30/12/2011 18:03

To exfoliate and moisturise my legs regularly. Last year I kept it up religiously until about Easter, then I was ill for a week so got out of the habit and never really took it back up again...

I'm the same as you about my nails OP - I hate it when people wear them too long.

PerishStorm · 31/12/2011 08:54

Oooh pavlov that's a good one that I definitely should do as well. Mainlining caffeine in the way I do is not good for my skin!

PavlovtheCat · 31/12/2011 09:17

perish nor me! I drink far far far to much coffee and no where near enough water. Hence my resolution. But...i have tried it before, do it for a month then forget and caffeine creeps back in!

Nails.

I've got them looking nice by doing regular home manicures in December it's my resolution is to keep this going now through the new year. If I use two coats of hardener, two coats of colour and a coat of top coat, I can get my nails looking really nice within a few weeks and always having them polished keeps them protected and stops them from breaking or flaking. I shall use hand cream, rubber gloves and cuticle oil too.
