Forget the sales...who has been out buying new season stock?

I had to nip in to take something back and bought a denim skirt from Esprit and a slouchy stripy top...lots of lovely bright colours in there.
I am determined to get my pins out for 2012.

I'm nearly 42 and still like getting my pins out (only in thick tights though). How much longer do you think I can get away with it? Legs are pretty decent.

I haven't bought ANY clothes - sales or otherwise - but I did treat myself to the Urban Decay Naked set today and am looking forward to having a good play with it.

Despite my pre new years resolution that 2012 will be a year of frugality, I have been both sale and none sale shopping

Sale: biscuit colour cashmere jumper from M&S (£39 down from £69), Bobble hat from M&S cos I left my other in a hotel at xmas and it appears lost forever (£7 down from £15), Boden cardi (down to £23)

non sale: M&S petite blue and black stripe pencil skirt - well, it will cheer me up when I have to go back to work in January. Next petite bottle green high waist skinny jeans - always snap this style up as they fit me so well and next petite lace style dress in a pebble colour - husbands 41st birthday next week and we are off to a swish hotel so this will be good for dinner.
