Going to London on Sat with my dad - planning on going to Oxford Street/Regent St. I really, really need jeans, but also after any other lovely and barginous clothes in the sales. Dads boredom threshold is about 2 hours (then we'll have a boozy lunch). d
So.. where is best for jeans - max budget £100 - I find it hard to get ones that don't gaap at the back (who are these hump-backed woment they make so many jeans for?) thinking maybe Levis ID, I did have a pair of 629s that I wore until they ripped, but was also considering a GAP consultation?

So where to go? What to buy?
Recommendations for lunch also welcome (dad's paying for that one Smile )

I seriously suggest you go to Uniqlo first- opposite John Lewis Oxford St- their jeans fit me better than any and are £25- they will also shorten them for you on the spot for £2.50.

Failing that- J Lewis or Selfridges a bit further down. Both have huge expanses of fashion floors devoted to jeans.

Can't your dad park himself in J Lewis "Place to Eat" and have a coffee etc- orlook at the hi fi/boys stuff while you shop in peace?

I've heard good things about Wild Honey ( restaurant) just off New Bond Street- you need to google for website. Or the restaurant in the Royal Academy, or even good old J lewis.

Depends on your budget and what kind of food you feel like.

There are also plenty of eateries in Wigmore street- back door of John Lewis- and also in St Christophers place- bottom of Oxford Street down side of Gap.

Go uniqlo jeans! Not quite the perfect fit, but for £35 definitly good enough - it seems I have a freakishly small waist relative to my honestly not that big bum!
Got some fab tops in JL - they have an excellent sale going on - got lunch at Carluccios at St Christophers Place - was lovely x
