Babyliss Big Hair - I can't do it properly *stamps foot*

There I was in Boots....it just called to me from the shelf. But can I use it and not end up with hair all over the place? Can I chuff.
I watched the official video but am still not getting it right. I have bobbed hair with layers, slightly below the chin. Is my hair too short or am I just being a div?
Any advice gratefully received! :)

have you hair bobbles or claw clips?

you need to bobble up the top layer to work on the underneath part

also use a 3 way mirror so that you can see what you are doing on the back of your heid

you really need cybbo, she's the QUEEN of BBH

I've been putting the top layer up in a bobble to do the underneath bits but what seems to happen when I then do the top layer is that the brush rotates up but then when I bring it down it pulls up underneath hair and makes it stick out. My hair strands are fine but there's loads of it so maybe I'm not sectioning it enough, but I could end up sitting there for 45 minutes doing it which is precious sleeping time (and I CANNOT BE ARSED).

I like the idea of a QUEEN OF BBH genuflects

oh yy don't take too much in each section

SunshineOnARainyDay · 29/12/2011 16:01

I have the BBH in one hand and with the other I take sections of hair and either put the BBH on top of head and bring down so that hair flicks up at ends or put BBH under section of hair to curl it under. Pull BBH down the section of hair while its spinning then as it gets to the end I move it back up hair and you get a nice smooth finish but make sure you keep your finger on the button and don't accidentally send it spinning the wrong way as this will tangle!

yy to not using too much hair in the section.

blimey, did that even make sense???

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 29/12/2011 17:29

It certainly did Sunshine, thank you :)

I think I need to practice more, with multiple bobbles!
