Help me decide...and what shoes?

It's my 40th in a couple of weeks and I have bought this dress to wear:

I have bought both the red and purple and now can't decide which! Dh likes both but slightly prefers the red.

Also I want to get some really sexy heels to go with it. I've got black courts but they're a bit boring. Any ideas where I can look? I thought maybe silver....
