I look like a potato.

I'm lumpy and misshapen and starting to feel rather distressed about it.
I've decided it's time to lose weight (diet and exercise) but wondered if you wise ones had any tips about what I can wear in the meantime to look nice and keep positive.
I'm 24, 5 foot 3 and a size 14. Main problem area is my fecking enormous stomach, calves aren't too terrible suppose.
Please help me, before I just hibernate and cry Grin

Which bits do you like? It would be a bit negative to just try and disguise bits. I am confident that you don't actually look like a potato. Don't just give us calves, what are your other plus points?

Jumper dresses

hi Lumpy,

I was your age when I had my first and felt the same way. Unfortunately I'm still a 14 --so still a potato in my own right.

So, I wear Leggings and dresses and show off my legs. The shorter the dress, the deeper the neckline (but I stay away from crazy patterns, solid colors so that I can accessorize--but I keep accessories to a limit of 2 (necklace/bracelet or scarf and earrings or bracelet and earrings)

I never leave the house without control pants, control leggings and the most impossible shoes i can find. (i don't know why I do this with the shoes) I do push a buggy to keep my balance though.

eandz - What sort of shoes do you wear with your jumper dresses? I've only just started wearing them and have been wearing them with slim fitting jeans, now I feel brave enough to wear with leggings. I feel too dumpy for ballet pumps.

depends on the length of dress Hazie and how long my leggings are or how dark my tights are.

Repetto have shoes for every occasion. Heels too if you need something comfortable to 'train' in.
