Mine are:

  1. To use the night time skin care products I have - I usually can't be bothered or forget.
  2. To buy some better off-duty clothes. I think (thought? see resolution 3) I make a effort for work, but throw on the same trousers and sweatshirts at home or when I'm going out. I long to be like one of my friends who always looks immaculately dressed and groomed whenever you drop in unexpectedly.
  3. To rethink my workwear. I look smart and appropriately dressed for my job, but I feel I'm looking a bit old and frumpy.

Mine:

  1. to stick to my tried and tested skin care products - for me, that's Clinique face wash and liquid soap, Simple toner and Clinique moisturiser - the yellow stuff. At night it is their night cream in a green tube. I have deviated to cheaper stuff in the past but my skin never feels as good so in 2012 I will not do this Xmas Grin 2)to sort out my wardrobe and take note of what I already have to wear rather than buying more stuff I can't really afford and definitely don't need. I want to be frugal and stylish in 2012 3)to go for quality rather than quantity - one dress beautiful dress I love rather than 5 cheap ones I don't.
  2. to get my hair cut every 8 weeks to keep my bob looking fresh and good - after all, I wear my hair every day!

Quality over quantity is my resolution.

To only buy flattering clothes. I am pear shaped I know the rules, most make sense I will follow them.

Bin the clothes I have that are not flattering or that I do not wear for whatever reason.

To find stylish comfortable shoes. I am guilty of running great outfits by wearing comfort shoes.

To bin everything I just don't wear, no matter how much I try to reason otherwise with myself. At the moment I only wear a Boden navy longline sweater, Joules cords, black Toast skinnies, a grey White Company jersey dress and a beige trench-coat, so if all goes according to plan my wardrobe will be exceedingly capsule :)
