Last time I went to a wedding was 1996, now my dad's getting married.

What do I wear and where from? I'm looking at jaques vert but am only 35 and always thought that was somewhere my mum went to. I'm 5ft 3" and could do with losing a stone or two. Wedding will be at the registry office and then a church blessing.

Budget is probably about £100 but I'd go a bit over, maybe up to £150 if it was a dress that I thought I could wear at other times. Either nights out, lunches out, etc. I can't really see me getting to many more weddings, everyone I know is married already!

Doh, just remembered that the dress I wore to my cousin's wedding in September might suit you if it's still in stock. It's Next petite, red with black bow at waist, v-neck and flared skirt. Will look for it later - about to bath DD.
