Crap eyebrows - what to do?

I've been plucking my eyebrows for 20 years Blush They are now really very thin and messy looking. I have been using a GOSH eyebrow pencil to fill them in a bit and it's making a difference, I don't think I look so 'surprised' anymore Grin

I've now stopped plucking completely, apart from very obvious stragglers, but I'm scared they will never grow back. I can see how ageing having thin brows is and it's making me look even more like my mother Confused Should I still go and get them shaped professionally, even though I want my eyebrows to be thicker, not thinner?

I think they will grow back, I'm 34 and have been plucking since I was 11 and they still grow back except in the middle which is sparser than it was in my monobrow days.

Get them threaded, I've been having waxing done since I was 16 and threading is so much better, more precise than a wax.

Just tell the therapist you need a thicker more defined brow, it takes my eb about 4 weeks to grow back and 8 to be thick catapillars again. So don't panic if they don't grow back all at once.

I've been looking at my eyebrows this morning - getting progressively thinner and stragglier - and decided I'm going to let them grow back and see what transpires!

I don't know if some of this is down to genes - I have bushy brows (mediterranean origins) and despite many years of plucking, now threading, they always grow back. However, a friend who has very thin eyebrows (and I just thought that was how she liked them) recently mentioned that she had plucked them pretty much all out as a teenager and they have never grown back.

Oh sod! My mum's have never grown back - she has ridiculous pencil-line type eyebrows in a massive arch, not a great look Hmm

Think will get them threaded but warn tell the threader not to take too much off!

I haven't plucked for 2 years as I was overly zealous as a teenager and want them back! They're only now beginning to look bushy but I'm resisting plucking till they're really full so I can totally reshape them.
