joe browns: size and what age is it aimed for

hiya i am 25 and have been looking at the online store. i love some of the dresses and skirts but am concerned about the sizing and also wondering if it looks a bit young.
i dnt have much confidence so cant take people giggling at me (may be all in my head but i am very very self conscious)
also i am size 10

The sizing of the tops is quite small ime. I'm 53 and wear some of their stuff, as do my15 year old twins!

We don't have any specific age that we aim at, that's the beauty of our company - as Dawndonna said she wears out stuff and so do her children! Our Facebook fan page is full of loads of different types of customers: all ages, shapes and sizes. There is something for everyone we hope!

As for sizing, we really recommend that you look at individual size charts. As we have our garments manufactured in several different factories there may be a slight variance. There's a size chart button for all products with sizing.

I think the reviews give you best idea about sizing personally.My MIL(62) Me(44) and DD(13) shop at Joe Browns. Lovely,interesting clothes IMO but of course the sales are best

i found the sizing small, am normally a 12 but a 12 top was tight on me. i used to like joe browns when it was a bit more fat face in style as it was cheaper and just as good quality, but it's gone too drippy hippy lately for me.

I find it massive! I have a size 10 dress that is just humongous on me.
