Idiot needs Bare Minerals help!

I just bought the Bare Minerals get started kit, and it looks great... however, I'm going out tonight and so I decided to put some on. Noticed that there are TWO foundations in the box - Medium, AND Medium beige. I don't need to put both on, do I?! A little confused! Thanks in advance for any help!

No you don't need both, it's just two powders.

No. The starter kit gives you a selection to try and see what is best for you. So, did your orange lady give you a colour match?

If so, top up with that but generally (although I am the lighter shades) is that I am the darker colour in winter and lighter in summer.

gregs did you mean that? Aren't we normally paler in the winter?

I've had the light starter set for Christmas but haven't tried it yet.

Thank you, that makes sense! My orange lady (snort!) did give me a colour match but I am a bit dim so I didn't listen hard enough. Good to know I can use the darker to top up in summer... my foundation tends to vary a shade between seasons so that'll save me going back. Thanks again!
