Hi,

Not sure whether to post here or in health...but...

Has anyone taken any supplements that has genuinely made them feel better about themselves ? or look better as an added bonus ?

I am trying to take more care of myself (followed lots of advice on princessing thread & lost weight ) and am much improved in last 2 months Xmas Smile

BUT feel really tired ATT , get bad PMT MOODY, and suffer with IBS.

I have tried Multi vitamins with Pro biotics , but can t say they made any difference. My diet is good (generally ) and dont feel I need the vitamins to replace food iyswim.

Can anyone rec anything wonderful x

I do vit-d megadoses, normal doses fish oil, b-complex. Also occasionally magnesium when craving chocolate. I have tried other stuff but feel no difference so I don't bother. I'm in good health. I deliberately never take iron pills as there's haemochromatosis in the family and I don't want to risk it. (1 in 200 risk if you have Irish ancestry btw; do not take iron supplements unless you know yourself to be anaemic!)

DH has iron, magnesium, zinc, calcium, vit-d and b12 supplementation cos he has spina bifida and it makes a huge, noticeable difference for him. His doc uses Floradix - seems to work well!
