Cream blusher

Can anyone recommend a lovely cream blusher? I would like one that looks a bit shiny to make me look a bit fresher faced. I usually wear bronzing balls or a pinky rimmel blusher but keep seeing lovely cheeked women on telly looking all fresh and lovely. Any recommendations? Thanks :)

max factor do a lovely cream blusher, there is a really bright pink one that works really well on most complexions

Nars "the multiple"...its a stick, like a fat lippy, comes in lots of shades, and some have a lovely sheen. It's not the cheapest, but lasts for ever.

Bobby Brown do a nice one.

Cream lipstick is the exact same thing as a lipstick just in a different shape.
Find a lovely colour lipstick you like and use that, blend and blend along your cheekbone and it will save you so much money.
(learnt this from a proffessional make-up artist on my beauty course)

Is cream blush better for large pores?

I have been using benetint, but the liquid nature of it means that it is diluting the pore cover I have put on. Would cream blush be better?

fluffylegs · 26/12/2011 21:03

yes it is better than the stains- as it doesn't sink in.

I quite often use lipstick but what about getting that nice sheen? I bought benefit high beam but I thought it looked a bit alien like!! X

I really like High Beam but have run out. I got a bottle of Hocus Focus for Christmas and am trying that, both mixed in with foundation and on its own along cheekbones. It is a bit more subtle, but I liked High Beam as I am prepared to look like an alien if it detracts from my pores.

jemma Kidd's is AMAZING!

It a creme to powder blush, goes on like a creme looks like a creme but sets like a powder, so its not constantly sticky on your face like mac's cremeblends are!

Theirs money off jemma kidd at feelunique.com.

I second the Nars Multiple stick.

LesserOfTwoWeevils · 27/12/2011 17:24

Maybelline's peach satin is very flattering, looks natural-ish but with a slight sheen and wakes up your whole face.

Bunbaker · 27/12/2011 17:31

I have the Vie one and it looks so natural. I love it.

kerstina · 27/12/2011 17:32

Am tempted by Nars multiple stick. I have the max factor one at the moment but it does not last that long. Would the orgasm shade suit an Autumn best ?

fluffylegs · 27/12/2011 17:46

my nars multiple doesn't last any longer than the Max Factor

Clinique do nice ones and they last quite well

LidlDonkey · 27/12/2011 22:09

I always use my lipstick as blusher; that way it all matches perfectly as well.
