I had a thread baout this not long ago- andbegan the great foundation hunt.

sepends on your skin type and budget but I narrowed it down to

Clarins ( which is what i got- in Ivory)
some Lancome , shade 010
Bobbi Brown- even I can't wear their Alabaster- too pale.

I am using Estee Lauder double wear in shade "bone" which is a great match for my pale skin. They seem to have quite a reasonable colour range so you could go to a counter and get somoene to try a few shades on you.

Nicola Roberts from girls aloud has brought out her own cosmetics for pale skin. Think it's called dainty doll - may be worth a go as she is really pale.

Lancome Teint miracle do a lovely pale shade, as do estee lauder double wear (unfortunately not the light version) but the double wear is very full coverage.

I've asked this same question here myself as I have really pale skin. Having spent a couple of hours traipsing around the various concessions in HoF, I realised that no matter how 'nice' a foundation might be, there are some brands which simply don't have the right colour for my skin tone. I avoid them now!! For the record, I'm using By Terry now but have found Cantecaille, Guerlain and Giorgio Armani good.

I found a great shade at Clinique.

It's quite difficult finding a tone which is pale enough but doesn't look like your face is caked in white.

perceptionreality · 26/12/2011 16:41

I use Bare Essentials - I think it's fabulous (in Fairly Light).

FrameyMcFrame · 26/12/2011 19:44

Agree with Lancome Teint miracle, I use 010 too. It's light but not too pasty looking.

Budget option, Revlon Colorstay in Ivory (it is much better on me than Chanel Perfection Lumiere). Shiseido have some pale options if you have yellow undertones.
