I need help - my wardrobe is seriously depleted - where to start?

Since having DS, I've put on a little weight and then due to not working, I had to cut back on spending.

I'm now back in work but my wardrobe is seriously in need of an overhaul as I've hardly bought anything in 4 years but jeans and casual tops and a few things for work.

This means that everytime there's an occasion or a family meal, I'm thrown into panic as I have nothing to wear.

What staples should I add to my wardrobe to stop these panic attacks?

i'm in the same boat, i feel like im always in the same crap, and i feel like i dont know what my style is anymore, i bought myself a nice jumper for the first time in ages. DD is 14months, and i am nearly 5months pregnant with DC2...

a lot of dresses you can dress up or down
I love a good floral dress! Shoe boots help make a dress look a bit dressy and knee high boots help for the school run

If I could do it all again (wardrobe shopping) I would buy 7-10 jersey dresses and some nice shrugs/cardigans/bags and boots.

They are all I ever wear now.

I've 2 of the Boden Stella dress, it's lovely silk jersey for £50.

Dozeyland, Boden have quite a nice feature on their website where you can put outfits together. Not sure if Boden is your style or not, but they do have good deals/discounts from time to time.
