just gone to buy this in harvey nics after seeing it recommended for dark circles and the woman on the counter wouldnt sell me it for that!

instead she put 3 other things on me which did nothing.

argh so now i have to find somewhere else to get it which accrpts my vouchers

yeah i know - i have jl but they're paper ones and i need to get advice on colour. and tbh i wouldnt trust her advice on that if she did give it after the colour she recommended for the other stuff!

it says on lm website its for dark circles and i watched a vid on elle about circles which was very clever

was that the Kandee video about the triangle method of covering under eye circles? I've tried it with Bobbi brown corrector (for the triangle) then BB creamy concealer over to blend out. works really well IMO. sometimes I just use the corrector with MAC moisturecover concealer too. I think maybe the LM is drier and designed for spots etc - could be why she tried to flog you something else?

JL sell Bobbi brown, so you could visit their counter (as they need to pick out the right combo of corrector & concealer).

BB cream concealer is brill- I have used it for ages now- don't use the colour corrector and i have quite dark circles. You need a shade 1 shade lighter than your foundation- theri online chart shows which one to buy if you were to match it with their foundations. I use Ivory and have what they would class as a porcelain shade skin- not the palest.

Laura mercier secret concealer is for under eye shadows, very creamy and pretty good - very similar to bobbi brown. The secret camouflage is much drier and is for blemishes, if you put it under your eyes it will make you look like a dried prune.
