Duo Boots - what about these?

What's the verdict on these boots? I have brown Brindisi's and would quite like a tan pair of boots. Not sure about these - they may date quickly with the buckles. These are the boots I really like - non-sale. Not much difference in cost.

Thanks

hello Millie1 I am a Duo girl too- have 3 pairs.

I quite like those-but I was wondering what the textured leather was like. Prefer the black to tan though- think the tan looks quite orange.
I prefer the 2nd pair- but have you measured the height? I sometimes find their boots come too far up to my knee but I am a short arse!

ps- I love Verdana but they are £££s.

I've got these- last year- and they are much nicer in the flesh- ankle is quite wide but that's the style.

Pooh Verdana are loooovely but look a similar colour to my brown Brindisi's. Yes, the boots in the first link look a bit orange - I wonder what colour of tan link two are. Have been dithering for months - maybe that's a sign to leave the boots for this year but to search for a new handbag instead!

I've two pairs of Duo and love them. I bought my second pair, which are black flat boots, a bit dressy, too tight on the calf though so won't make that mistake again! Given how skinny my calves are, it's amazing that a pair of boots can be a bit too tight!!

I think the 2nd pair look a paler "orange".
I agree about fitting- I have a pair of their black riding boots from 2 seasons back- with buckles at the top- and they are a 32 cms fit and are a bit too tight. In the shops they do try to sell them to you as a tight fit. (I think we might have the same pair- they have a long elastic insert down the back.)
My other pair linked above is a 34 cms and is deffo needed for wearing with jeans and thick tights.

Sounds exactly like the same pair Amelia. I'd like even another centimetre width on them!
