Color me beautiful seasons? And coats.

I had a voucher for getting my colours done, which I did earlier this week. But now, I need a new wardrobe :o and a friend has confused me, by asking me what "season" I am.

AFAIK I'm not a season, but my colours should be warm, deep, rich ones. So, any ideas anyone?

Also, DAK somewhere that's selling chocolate brown below-knee-length coats at the moment? I'm after a new coat to replace my clapped out old black one, but rarely get a chance to go shopping for me without kids in tow so narrowing things down would be helpful.

Colour Me Beautiful do warm/soft/rich/deep/cool etc etc, House of Colour (the other main colour consultancy) do seasons (deep autumn, bright winter etc). Warm, deep and rich translates to an autumn, probably a deep one, at a guess.

no idea re coats - I never manage to buy one after about August as all the nice ones are gone. Same with winter boots.

Ah, thank you, that explains things a bit! And yes, I forgot the "soft" bit too.

Maybe I'll have a chance to look for coats/clothes after Christmas, if I manage to offload the kids onto the inlaws for a day when they're down, they don't deal well with mummy trying on clothes in actual shops... :o
