Shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair

I've just had my hair coloured a medium brown with a hint of red which I really love. How do I keep the colour from fading? Should I use a shampoo specifically for brunettes or one for coloured hair and which is the best high street brand to go for? If I used a shampoo for red hair would that accentuate the red? Went into Super drug today but came out empty handed as there were so many to choose from!

i use this. I suppose it is about 2x the price of things like pantene, but it really does the job. I use the matching conditioner too.

Ooh, thanks. I think I'll give it a go!

My old hairdresser used to recommend Goldwell - it is very good.

Is that a site you use alot sprinkles?
It seems to have the best prices/delivery I've seen so far for some stuff I wanted.

morag I'm not sure if I've used this website. I did get the shampoo from a website based in the channel islands, which this one is, but I don't normally order from sites with no telephone number, so I don't think it was this one, but did pay a similar price to this.

Thanks for that sprinkles, I am now completely out of mine so will stump up for some from the hairdresser until I decide or try ebay for a gigantic bottle.
