My manicure is ruined (sob) - go for repair or DIY?

Had a manicure this pm and it looked looks fab. It seemed to take ages to dry though for some odd reason. Anyway, 2 hours after having manicure done, I washed dishes with rubber gloves on and now the polish on two nails has gone all wrinkly and come away from the nail tip.

Shall I go back tomorrow and ask them to re-do those two nails or sod the whole thing and re-paint myself tonight in a different colour? I can't do a repair myself as I don't have the same colour Maybe this should be in AIBU?

I'd go back and get them to do at least the two nails if not all of them as seems possible the offers might do that as well.

I would go back and get them to re-do it. If it has gone like that just after a couple of hours then I would say you are entitled to a refund or a fix, definitely.

Was it Jessica polish...takes ages to set properly.

Not Jessica, it was OPI. I've found that I have a colour which almost matches so may do a DIY this evening - will see how it goes. Thanks all

Im sorry but I doubt you'd get a refund as op suggested. Im a nail tech and it can take upto 4 hours to set completley more if its Jessica and especially when its been done properly. fraid it was your fault but they should of told you not to put your hands near hot water. If its not that long since you had them done just spit on a thumb pad and press firmly done to stretch the polish back over your fingers then finish with top coat to make shiny again. I always give my clients a thou must not wash dishes note!!!

I don't want a refund leobeebs, I just need 2 nails to be re-done. They're my regular place and usually very good so I don't want to fall out with them either! Maybe I'll just fix it myself
