Next - why is everything sold out???

For the past few weeks everything I try and buy on Next.com has sold out! no shoes in my size, nothing decent in the kids sections in the right size - everything I click on has sold out!

Never usually have this problem with Next. Are they struggling? Is this an indication that the upcoming sale will be shite?

Someone told me everything is out of stock because they're purposely keeping stuff back FOR the sale. This makes no sense though, wouldn't they rather have people pay full price for stuff??

Maybe they're getting everything ready for the sale which starts tomorrow night at 9pm online.

I wouldn't be buying at this late stage as it's probably going to be half price soon.

Maybe they have been buying less stock in? I think Boden may have been doing this too as their stuff seems to go out of stock quite quickly.

I noticed that too when I was trying to order some stuff 2 weeks ago. Prob in this economic climate they have reduced their stockholding. Will be surprised if anything is left for the sale.
