Paige denim - sizing?

A fashionable friend who is off to celebrate NYE in New York (I live vicariously through her glamorous life) has offered to bring me some jeans back as I am in dire need (I've been wearing the same asos skinnies for far too long). We are assuming there will be sales on in NY. I'm thinking some premium denim like Paige would be great, as the fit seems to be flattering. The question is, is it true to size or do I need to size up? Is premium denim generally cut smaller/larger than the norm?

this isn't going to help much, but paige sizing is all over the place. if I were you, I'd decide which style you're after and then do some research on the internet. there are some websites in the states which have ratings from customers - think revolve is one - and they can be useful

thanks faustina, just having a look around reviews, it seems that even different colour washes on the same model of jeans can come up different sizes. Gulp.
