Reiss Dress Size Help

Ladies of S & B, have any of you seen/tried the Reiss Nola dress?. Wondering if it's as nice as it looks on the model and how the sizing comes up.

I'm thinking of ordering it for Christmas Day, but don't live anywhere near a Reiss store/concession to be able to try on. Any help much appreciated.

Thanks Smile

It is a beautiful dress. Reiss sizing is usually vanity / on the large size. I'm a 12 but a Reiss 12 is more of a 14 imo. I believe that's starting to change though.

Thanks MM. I'm usually an 8-10 and umming and ahhing which size to get. I've normally found Reiss on the large side, but I needed a 10 in a lace skirt from there recently...don't really want to order 2 sizes as credit card is already pretty loaded up this time of year.

I understand they are changing their patterns to address the sizing issue. Do you know anyone you can ask to try it on?

Hi! I'm a size 8 & have a Reiss 'Lola' dress in a size 8 & its a bit too big.
HTH!

Love that dress. Like the previous posters I've always found that despite generally being a 10, I'm an 8 in Reiss.

My tip for ordering/buying from Reiss - their returns policy is crap, especially in store (I think online you are covered by the distance selling regulations for 14 days). If I want something from Reiss I always check John Lewis / Selfridges / House of Fraser etc. That way you are covered by their much better returns policy rather than Reiss's crap one.

I've been in there a lot lately and their dresses are still a full size larger than normal, so I'd order a size up if I were you.

The Reiss sale has now started. Grin

Arghh. I love the Lola dress in blue. But I'm 28 weeks pregnant so it'll be a while before I can wear it, and I can't try it on (although of all the dresses in the world, Reiss usually fit me better than most). To treat myself or not????
