everyone does copies and bags similar to well known ones, there are hundreds in the high street, plus loads of copycat sites online. Debenhams is full of Bayswater look a likes.. also have you seen the M&S

I didn't realise that was a copy of the mulberry, I thought it was their own design, but that is an exact copy. Everyone copies, what I don't like is that p&m say that they design the bags themselves. Tbh I can't see the big rave about P&M myself.

The M&S 'Alexa' isn't very reminiscent though is it. It is a huge stretch to recognise any Alexa in it whereas the P&M Lucia is a pretty direct copy of the Annie. And, you are right, the M&S waters the design down even more so that you forget what was ever good about it in the first place . Well, the penny has certainly dropped for me, I suppose there really are only a few designs and each brand/maker is constantly prevaricating around the same few things.
