Fuddy Duddy or Fab?

Is this dress " like something your mother would wear", or is my DH misguided in the ways of womens dresses? Bought in the sale, in the blue, by the way, & I thought it was really flattering until the mother comment!!

I like the dress and think it's just the length which could make it frumpy. If it's above your knee then I say keep!

Fine in the plain colourways- frumpy in the print, sorry.

I don't know how Boden manage to do it; the cut is fine, the colours are not particularly offensive, but the combination just looks... Boden.

Fine in red or black but the prints are hideous. And yes, I think the length looks frumpy unless you are v tall.
