The perfect jeans.....

I am fed up with spending money on jeans that I then go off. I fit in a Next size 12 waist but have a saggy flat bottom so the arse is always baggy on my jeans after I have worn them for longer than half an hour, even if there is lycra in them. I seem to get saddlebag bits of material on the jeans round the sides too. Where should I be shopping?
TIA

Grrr. I hate next jeans. Very unflattering IMO. What's your budget?

FrannyandZooey · 10/01/2006 19:48

I am desperate for a nice pair of jeans. What happened to the style shop?

Skyler · 10/01/2006 19:50

Up to £50......

surely lycra is the prob - non stretch jeans wouldn't stretch and would therefore not go baggy!

Seven jeans I got mine for £35 on ebay. Worth every penny

A-ha, I thought the lycra should make them go back into shape better...
Aren't seven jeans quite low waisted though? I am afraid I have a muffin top to contend with too 6.5 months post dd2.

I wear seven and yes they are low rise, but not too bad, and you could wear longer tops with them. They are so flattering for your bum though.

Topshop also do a good range.

High waisted jeans are not hip dear

Skyler · 10/01/2006 20:05

NO!!! and high waisted jeans make my bum look flatter and wider than ever. I don't think it is wide, but it looks it in the jeans I buy .

moto jeans from Topshop.
Low waist and boot cut.

northerner · 10/01/2006 20:08

You're a size 12 so you'll look fab in a low rise pair from Topshop. Go and have a look take loads into the changing room and you'll find some you love.

Get a nice belt too.

I am a Next size 12 though so a Topshop 14 (at least). I will give it a go though. Thanks for the advice....I am actually in Cyprus and was getting ready to hit the shops when I move back to the UK next month, but in fact I can get to a Topshop out here too so I am doubly chuffed. Thanks
