Best high street cashmere?

Where can I get a nice cashmere cardigan which won't bobble and can go in the machine? I've got a black boden one which is brilliant but they've sold out of other colours - I'm easy on colours and could spend up to £100. Many thanks in advance!

I've been really impressed with Uniqlo. Slightly higher end, I wholeheartedly recommend J Crew who now ship to UK (returns are but more work than usual though)

John Lewis is good. M&S rubbish - goes bobbly very quickly.

My cashmere crazy friend raves about Uniqlo.

Tesco. Seriously. I have 2 cashmere jumpers from them which have lasted 5 years without a bobble, losing their shape or shrinking. DH bought me a beautiful Jaeger cashmere jumper for 4 or 5 times the cost of the Tesco one and it bobbled and shrank despite very carefully following care label.

I have a jaeger cashmere jumper I've had probably a decade and looks like new.

John Lewis is good quality.

I also like mypashmina.co.uk (small company but v. good cashmere)

can't beat Brora though! I always wait for the Brora sale or clearance.

j crew uses same cashmere as loro piana

Picked up a great one fromfrench connection a few mths ago.

IME, Tesco cashmere is very thin.
M&S is hit and miss.
Boden also hit and miss - though I have a lovely cropped cashmere cardi from their summer range that hasn't bobbled at all.
GAP has some nice bits and feels lovely and soft though I haven't bought anything.

I agree that Uniqlo is good quality and cheap. Washes well in the machine on hand wash.

TK Maxx and Johnsons cashmere

I have a Cos cashmere scarf which is beautiful.

Uniqlo - no pilling, soft, nice weight, and washes very nicely in the machine.
