have ordered twice from them, first parcel been with hermes for 15 days, paid £5 for next day delivery should have been here Wed, still not here. Anyone else have this problem? Sure it wouldn't happen with net a porter....

I've never had issues with Hermes but am having major problems with Yodel atm and an being driven slowly mad. Last month a parcel with a substantial amount of Uniqlo cashmere in went missing for two weeks and no one anywhere could help. Every day the website said they'd tried to deliver but hadn't. Eventually it arrived at 10:50pm on a Sunday night Hmm.

Now I'm having problems again- John Lewis Christmas order placed 10 days ago, dispatched immediately, been with Yodel for over a week with no status update. Noone answers phone & John Lewis are struggling to get an answer! Angry

So I feel for you.

Hermes are a pain in the ass - Next use them too. Ordered stuff from next for next day delivery on the 4th and it arrived today - after I called and complained more than once they reordered it to be delivered to store today.

Ordered many times from DP and never had a problem with Hermes. Always speedy service. It may be an issue with individual Hermes person.

If Next use them too it is definitely the individual Hermes person as my friend constantly moans about the individual who delivers her next Next parcels - or rather doesn't deliver them.

My Next deliveries are always really good though. Although I have been waiting a fortnight for something but I think that's Next rather than Hermes for once.

My Hermes courier must be really good then. My DP order came early Grin. I hate hate hate Yodel though.

I had exactly the same problem with Dorothy Perkins last week. Paid £7.50(!!) for nominated day delivery. Waited in all day and nothing arrived. Couldn't even find out where it was cause Hermes tracking number wouldn't work on their website!

In the end I emailed customer services and they advised that they couldn't deliver that quickly to m postcode. Why then had then taken my money?

After a couple of emails they refunded my postage, you should get it back to. There's no point paying extra for quick delivery if it ends up taking the same time/longer than their standard service.
