Tights and shoe help

Could anyone help me to find some funky legwear and or shoes to go with this dress please? It's a lovely dress but I want something to cool it up a bit. I'm size 10/12 with okish legs although I'm short (5'3)

I like 'different' but not too different :-)

Do you think I could wear patterned tights or do I need to be 15?

Otherwise I was thinking either coloured shoes (red/blue etc) with black tights or vice versa? Any other ideas?
