Eyelash curlers - is the Shu Emura one *that* good?

Or is a bog standard one, from say Boots good enough.

It is very good, but no way is it five times better than boots or other cheap ones... and it costs five times as much!

I still have one going strong after a year of daily use, but when I replace it will go back to Muji one for £5 thank you very much

I agree, I also the shu emura one and Space NK, I find them both similar and space one is cheaper

I have to be honest and say I bought The S E one and found it has been the ONLY curlers I have ever got to work.
I have had some cheap Boots ones and Tweezerman in the past but have found them to be rubbish and not worth keeping. Now I have found the SE ones I won't be changing in a hurry!

I didn't rate them, they were no different to any other curlers I've ever tried, and cost a fortune! I was expecting something different, but they are just the same.

I don't think it's anything to do with the brand of curler, as they are all made exactly the same, from the same materials! I think it's just luck if you find one which happens to be a great fit for you.

Funnily enough the H&M ones seem to be the best for me by a mile.

I gave up with eyelash curlers a few years ago the last time I lost a huge clump in the middle. I now get them permed and it is amazing. Have many more eyelashes and cuts down time getting ready to a minimum too.

If you heat your curlers up with a blast from a hairdryer they work LOADS better

The Shu Uemura ones are amazing, and yip - always touted as being the best. I think on a cost-per-use basis, mine have been very bargainous!
The Suqqu ones are meant to be fab, too.
