I'm getting dry flaky bits - round my nose and lips etc - cos of nose blowing and dog walking.

I sometimes been OCM ing just with avocado oil and then putting a wee bit of the oil on before bed instead of moisturiser. Also been trying to have smoked salmon for lunch each day and eat almonds and brazil nuts as a snack.

Any good products out there that will 'feed' my skin but not block it (pores easily block with some products).

Hi Tracy I'm suffering with flaky skin at the moment aswell. I use Decleor Hydra floral and liz earle super skin moisturiser for day, and moringa balm at night, they both keep My skin nice and moist.

I have that same problem in winter and have been using almond oil every night, making sure to massage it in for a good while so it doesn't just sit on top of the skin like some oils. It's helped a lot!

Also, if you don't already, make sure you exfoliate plenty (but gently) otherwise the flakes will stop any moisturiser you use from getting absorbed.

Try rubbing almond oil in, then putting a hot flannel on your face to take the oil off. It leaves your skin really soft, and the flannel sort of has an exfoliating action too.

Will be trying that later ellangirl!

Eucerin 5% urea creme really works, I used it when I lived in the Arctics and the freezing temperatures, windchill and central heating battered my skin. And it didn't break me out (almond oil is delicious but gave me pimples). Eucerin healed my skin overnight, whereas rubbing and exfoliating only irritated my skin more - but it may be that my skin is supersensitive.

Which Eucerin was it Donaana? There seems to be quite a range now! Theres a range for hydration, for dry skin and one for sensitive skin. As well as the anti aging and greasy skin range!
