Glitter shoes

I want need a pair of glittery shoes. Proper glittery, you know when they are a bit rough to the touch. Ideally flat and with a pointy toe. Not too pricey (less than £40? Ideally less. Even though I really need them!)

I've looked in office, top shop etc. Where else can I try?

Next Directory have some. About to put DS to bed but I have a pair in black. £19.99 I think.

Will have a look thanks. I'd really like them to be super sparkly - sort of Strictly shoes iIYKWIM - but black might satisfy my I initial craving!

You mean like these but cheaper?

Kurt Geiger did them last year as well - this year they have metallic ones which might just do if you can't find anything else? Lulu Licorice

Dorothy Perkins?

Spotted a link to this on The Hairpin a while ago, looks like it works fantastically. Seriously. DIY glitter shoes.

I don't think I could be arsed TBH, but maybe you can.

PastGrace · 13/12/2011 19:50

Hetty I am the least crafty person in the world, but I REALLY want to try that now!

Bloody hell S&B rocks! I love love love those KG blue ones, the M&S Ones aren't too bad either and I think I might just have to get the bargainous (is that a word?!) Dotty P ones whilst saving for the KG ones!

That's the second recommendation I've read today about The Hairpin - must check it out.

Thank you all. Am off to sparkle!

Oh my - those DIY shoes are fantastic. Have knackered pair of cons that could be revolutionised with glitter.......

Claires have ballet flats in glitter reduced to £8. Including ruby slipper ones, gold, silver and some sort of dogtooth effect.

I was very tempted by the Dorothy ones.
