Does Phase Eight come up big or small?

Thanks to you lot all recommending Phase Eight (!) I've just ordered a couple of their sale dresses.

Just wanted to know...does their sizing come up big or small? I really wanted the cable knit dress but they only had a 14 left and I'm normally a 12. Not sure if it's going to be too big...

I think it comes up big. I wear their 16 and find it quite big on the shoulders and across the back in some styles.
In other shops I take either a 16 or an 18 depending on cut.

not sure about the waist but roomy across the shoulders IME.

Bit big IIRC. I seem to remember their clothes being a good fit for slightly shorter people though.

Definitely big. I usually wear a 12 there and have often worn a 10, and with the best will in the world, I am not either of those sizes.

I only have 1 top from them. It claimed to be a 12. I gave it to my mum who is 16 on a good day.

You are all right. Size 8, yes 8!! dress arrived today and it fits! And after all that I'm not sure if I like it. Got a few more coming via John Lewis.
